Delivery
This item is delivered by our specialist bulky goods contractor, normally in 2 working days, though faster is frequently possible if you need it in a hurry. After you place an order we will contact you (the same day, or next working day if orders are received in the afternoon or outside working hours) to arrange a delivery day when you will be at home; we don’t just dispatch orders the moment we receive them because sending something bulky and heavy to an address when no one is there to receive it causes considerable problems for our delivery company. Delivery is Monday to Friday, 0800 – 1800. Saturday deliveries are possible but this is at additional cost (normally £60, contact us before placing an order to arrange).
The delivery comes on a pallet; the driver will get the pallet as close to where you want it as possible but they are not able to pass through narrow entrances, up/down steps etc. In a worst case scenario the pallet will be delivered to the kerbside. The driver is not allowed to help unpack/set up the barbecue but please don’t worry about this – although moving the whole pallet would be ill-advised, unpacking it and moving it item-by-item is easy. The barbecue is straightforward to assemble and we can (and often do) talk people through how to do it by telephone.
