Delivery Time

Coronavirus update (20/12/2020): we remain open for online purchases. It is currently not possible to visit our warehouse to view barbecues. Deliveries by freight carrier and courier are running as normal, mostly on time, but occasionally slightly slower than usual. We are not able to offer home setup of barbecues at the moment.

Most items are dispatched within 1 working day of purchase and delivery takes a further 1 – 2 days to arrive.

Some items are not kept in stock and are specified as “Special order” in the product’s description; these are normally dispatched in 1 working day and take a further 2 – 5 working days to be delivered. If it will ever take longer than 7 working days to deliver your purchase we will notify you as soon as possible.

Delivery method

Small items are delivered by Royal Mail/Parcel Force or DPD. When available will send you tracking details. You will be notified when your items have been dispatched.

Large/heavy items are delivered by freight carrier to the kerbside at your home (the delivery driver will bring it to the doorstep if they can, though that depends on access – they can’t wheel up steps or through narrow openings). Most items are delivered on wooden pallets. You will be notified when items have been dispatched and of the expected delivery date in advance.

Express / international delivery

We do not offer these through our webshop, but they can be arranged. Contact us with your address and a list of what you want to buy for a quote.

Fraud screening

If your delivery address is not the same as your card billing address, or if our card company notices anything anomalous, your order may be automatically flagged for fraud screening. If this happens we have to do further checks on your order and you may be asked to provide proof of address or identity. This can sometimes slightly delay dispatch of your order.

Banned delivery addresses

We do not deliver to PO Boxes or mail/parcel forwarding agencies. Please do not specify one of these as a delivery address – if we realise that this type of address has been used we will cancel the order. If you do use one of these addresses for delivery (and we do not realise) we are unable to accept returns/provide replacement of damaged items, and we can not provide refunds or replacements for any items that are lost after being passed on by our carrier.

Delivery Cost

For most purchases over £50, delivery is included in the purchase price. If you are buying charcoal, delivery is based on weight. And if you are buying a barbecue and live somewhere remote, we may need to charge to cover some of the delivery cost we incur. To check delivery cost, add items to your basket, go to your cart, and enter your delivery postcode.

We subsidise delivery cost, meaning delivery on most items is effectively free to the buyer. Please note, if you change your mind and return an item to us, the full cost we incurred on its original delivery is non-refundable.

Returns

You can cancel your purchase within 14 working days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods. It is your duty to retain and take care of the goods. You must send the goods back to us at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the contract.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you (less the delivery charges we incurred) as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of receipt of your returned goods.
